At Little Light, we believe in growing together—and that includes hands-on help from our amazing community! Whether you’re a teen looking for service hours, a parent with skills to share, or someone excited to support our mission, we’d love your help.
Building & Carpentry Help
We’re currently working on building our schoolhouse and are looking for volunteers with experience in carpentry, framing, or construction. If you’d like to lend a hand or donate materials, please reach out!
Animal Care & Farm Support
We need dependable helpers to assist with feeding, watering, and caring for animals, as well as basic homestead tasks. Great opportunity for teens earning service hours or adults looking to connect with the land.
Classroom Aides & Mentors
Join us as an aide in classes, helping younger children with projects, outdoor time, or transitions. Perfect for high schoolers or adults interested in education, mentoring, or child development.
Little Lights Internship (Ages 13–17)
We’re looking for passionate teens to assist with our Little Lights group! Responsibilities may include helping with activities, reading aloud, cleaning up, and supporting younger students during transitions.

Is there a age group for the service day on Saturday? Will you please give me details about that. Thank you. I have a 5 and 7 year old, and I would be happy to have them participate in something like that, for volunteering work.
I also notice there’s no classes open or am I just reading it wrong? If yes, will there be classes in the near future? I remember both my son, Gustaf and Gunther join one of your summer classes and it was such a blessing for them. They never forget about it and always asked if they can do that again. LoL!
