Time for vaccinations and hoof trimming, we are still learning the ropes but I think we’re finally getting it down :-). Special thanks to our good friends that helped wrangle our goats and sheep, it was an entertaining evening!

Contra Costa County Fair!

I meant to post this a couple of weeks ago, but didn’t get the chance. I just wanted to mention how much fun we had visiting the 4H animals at the fair. This is where the kids from 4H show their animals, they can win ribbons and prizes, and even money when they sell at market. Also, they had some really great animal exhibits this year! Looking forward to next year!

It was another beautiful week here at the ranch! We hiked, gardened, made ice cream, had a scavenger hunt and did a lot of cooking! We made chicken on a stick, and cheese balls. We are excited for next week!!

Penelope is a miniature pot belly pig, she is only eight weeks old and we have already fallen in love with her ❤! 

We had another fantastic week, we played games, learned about poultry, hiked, harvested vegetables, painted, cooked, cleaned the coop, had a goat vaccination demonstration, and learned about respect. I loved every minute ❤.
