Penelope is a miniature pot belly pig, she is only eight weeks old and we have already fallen in love with her ❤! 

We had another fantastic week, we played games, learned about poultry, hiked, harvested vegetables, painted, cooked, cleaned the coop, had a goat vaccination demonstration, and learned about respect. I loved every minute ❤.

Last week was the first week of summer session at Oak Hill Ranch! We had lots of fun, we listened to stories on trustworthiness, walked to the oak tree, played some games, made lots of animal friends, including my neighbors two horses and a mule :-).

We learned about rabbits, made smoothie, smashed potatos, and did some finger weaving It was a great week!

We welcomed friends and family on Saturday, to give thanks and to celebrate our new start at the ranch. There have been many people who have helped over the past couple of years whether it was babysitting, bringing a meal, helping us move, and of course laboring on the ranch. We would not be here without you ❤.

No joke! In case you were wondering… Rabbit tastes EXACTLY like chicken. We barbecued rabbit for the first time, and I’m sorry to tell you, that little guy was delicious!
