Today was the first official kickoff—the day the barn doors opened once again. Barn Days!
It was a day filled with fun, learning, and hands-on experiences. The kids worked hard planting seedlings, cleaning out coops, and sowing seeds. One of the highlights was a flower-pounding activity—where the children learned about the parts of a flower while imprinting petals onto fabric. The rhythmic pounding of flowers sounded like drumming, filling the space with an unexpected energy. It was wonderful to see them working together, focused and engaged.
The farm was alive with curiosity and laughter. What a beautiful way to start this new season!
