It’s been three years since we closed our doors to the public, and so much has happened in that time. I wasn’t sure if we would ever open another micro-school—until God told me we would. He guided us to the perfect home to make it happen. We moved at the end of February, and since then, we’ve been slowly but surely working on the property.

If it weren’t for the kind community we found, I don’t know if this dream would be coming true. Today, we hosted an open house for Explorers, a day that should have been filled with excitement and anticipation. But today also brought deep sorrow—my dad passed away.

To say I was overwhelmed with emotion would be an understatement. To be reopening a school for children, to be stepping back into my calling, to be honoring the love of learning and exploration—while also grieving—felt like standing in the middle of a storm, with both sunshine and rain falling at once.

Yet through it all, I am grateful. Thank you to everyone who has supported this journey. And thank you, Lord, for allowing me this opportunity again.
